I'll say it for the billionth time, I'm no expert on PQ, but this 4k looks WAY better than the blu.

This is a very set design kind of movie and so this new transfer almost makes it look newer than it is. While the blu ray made it look older than it is.

Yeah they did a great job managing this one and getting the color to look purposeful rather than ridiculous like before. Really digging the burton UHDs as such. Good job on grain management too with how bright they played it. Blacks are perfect also.

I popped in the bluray to listen to the commentary after I watched the 4K, and was shocked at how bad it is. The 4K is nice, seems moderately grain managed, but it doesn't bother me.

I'm overall very pleased with this. Great detail. Coming straight from the DVD and it's damn good. I kinda wish we had that mild cool blue filter that was on the dvd which was not on every scene. Kinda changed the atmosphere tone. Now the 4k is pretty much all grey.

Damn, they weren't kidding when they said the "digisteel" was limited. After a month it's OOP. I mean I only wanted the booklet, which is really good, and I'd have prefered it if it was just steel only. I like the design but care not for the weird mix of digisteel.

I'm not gonna suffer over losing chances. I'll just grab the standard UHD

It's a nice disc and one of Paramount's best handled catalog titles. The 5.1 track is dynamic and engaging as well.

My original Wal-Mart order and my Amazon order when the listing came back up a few weeks ago are still open.

I'm assuming Paramount is printing more, or else both orders would have been canceled by this point.

I'm just kind of hoping against hope, to be honest. I'd like that digipack in my collection. It looks neat.
