Looks like it, on the 17th. I was expecting it to be on the 24th, to coincide with their release of The Others 4K. But apparently it will coincide with their blu-ray release of Freaks/the Todd Browning set (which seems to excite a lot of people, but never appealed to me).

I had to use up a week's worth of vacation days in October, so I gambled & chose the week of the 24th, and imagined sitting at home on my computer for the flash-sale & taking my sweet time. D'oh!

Now it looks like Tuesday the 17th will find me and my phone sneaking off to some hidden place at work to fumble around with copying & pasting promo codes and slow load times.

I'm still waiting for a notice for my final order from that Orbit sale. It was mostly Severin titles. I don't think any came with slips.

That's when I placed my last one. Still waiting, but sounds like it could be another week or two depending on whether their supplier gets things to them later rather than sooner.

got my orbit order last week , perfect , danza macbre set was mint , trollenberg from Germany mint and 88 films torcher chamber dr sadism with slip was pristine as well . packaging was perfect .

This shop is awesome and free shipping on 3 items or more , You can't beat that . They get stuff from other countries and at good prices , Which makes our lives so much easier then shelling out a ton for shipping on certain stuff or having to do group buys .

Deal Alert - Blu-rays Under $15! You’re Gonna Want In On This Sale

1652 items listed, many well less than $9.99. Hopefully I can pluck some titles that have been in my Amazon cart for eons, which they rarely discount more than pennies at a time. It gives me a sense of enormous well-being whenever I can delete a title from that cart, not having to feed the bear. This sale season has left me broke, so I hope this extends till my next paycheck.

When it works, DD has some of the best Search filters of any retailer.

Patiently awaiting The Criterion Flash sale this coming Tuesday. I have 14 titles on my wish list (all currently in stock) and a $50 voucher to use to help ease the burden some. I bypassed both the recent Scream and Arrow sales to hold out for this instead.

Any idea of the duration of this sale? I'm broke for the next 10 days and already missed three sale opportunities because of it. Would love to snag a handful of Criterions that have been cluttering my wishlist(s).

I received an e-mail notice from Orbit. It looks like my final sale order is being held up by one Severin title that's on backorder. Apparently, there's a few of them, which might explain the delay for some of you also.

Looks like B&N's point system is only 50% as generous as Criterion's store, which gives you a $50 gift certificate for every $500 spent. Meanwhile, $500 spent at B&N will get you 50 stamps that amount to $25 in rewards. The upside is that it appears that you can use those rewards much sooner -- every 10 stamps ($100 spent) is converted to a $5 reward added to your account -- whereas with Criterion you have to rack up $500 in purchases before receiving a gift certificate. Good to know!

I'm still working up to a $50 gift certificate at the Criterion store, so I'll probably stick to their flash sales whenever possible in the near future, but it's great that B&N has made their rewards system free to all customers.
