Given the great promotional campaign they had for this film I really thought they would have some cool things in store for the physical release but so far it's been incredibly dull.

It was most likely all saved for the higher priced Manta Lab release when it comes.

OTOH, it is really, really well made movie and plays far better with adults than little kids and.... does star one of the best looking actresses of all-time so what has your nephew become is maybe the better answer?

Visited my local HMV to pick up a copy of this and they confirmed they never had any steelbooks delivered, must have been really limited stock. Ordered from Amazon France with 5 euro off instead.
