If you think you're good then go for the ultimate "dragon flag".

Compared to hundreds of crunches and situps, those work much faster and strength gains are simply incomparable. Plus safer on the back when properly done. Although, the mistake during the dragon flag can mess you up for a while

I finished week 2 yesterday. I use Sunday's as a well-deserved rest day. I'm going to stick with it and see what happens. I've been "cheating" with the food but what can you do. I'm getting nervous about my upcoming vacation to Miami beach...

Going jogging today. Breakfast:

Oatmeal

Then 2 hours later:

Hard boiled egg and an orange

Just came by see how everyone was doing, now down by 30 pounds since January, gym 3 times a week, eating 3 normal meal everyday, cutting down on snack and junk food in a HUGE way. Feel's very good. Still have some more to lose to get to a more normal weight for my size but I am very happy with the results of these first 7 months. The hard part is keeping it off

Yeah no more junk food for me. Or soda. Or coffee even.

I'm trying to get my wife to quit caffine with me. It's hard for her, she loves Cinnabon & Starbucks mochas, but I told her she will feel a lot better about herself.

ok guys, starting this week, i am making a commitment to drop some weight, my goal is about 25 lbs, im around 215 right now and 190 is my weight when i was in college, question is, im looking for some suggestions on what people take for lunch to work? i always seem to be running behind so i dont have time to make anything in the morning, i guess im looking for something healthy i can do the night before and it will not be nasty if it sits in the fridge overnight, then all morning, anybody got any ideas?

A sandwich with 100% whole wheat bread, a salad, and some sort of fruit. Choose a healthy salad dressing, and the sandwich could be tuna or lunch meat. Just don't use regular mayo ever.

Just finished Plyo-X...it kicked my a&*...You sweat buckets during that routine.

Jono- I'm also eying a weight of 190 ish. I have to get to 200 first though... I weighed in @ 223 today(Started @ 234). I have been cheating though. Ate late @ night a few times and had some pizza. For lunch...I'd suggest a salad or light tuna sandwich(ditch the mayo) and if you get hungry a bit later..an apple. I've had a lot of success by eating salad's for lunch and having some fish for dinner(I've been mixing it up with Salmon, Mako shark, and Swordfish(so good) with a side of veggies.

Try to have your last meal by 6pm. You've got to burn more calories than you take in so keep that in your mind. Count your calories. Drink Water..ditch the soda and coffee. Junk food is another killer.

I also found this...
http://www.gregthompson.org/how-i-lo...-lasagna-diet/
I haven't tried it for the same duration but it's loaded with protein and if you eat the specified amount, it will completely leave you satisfied. Granted it may get old after a while but for another option for lunch, if you watch the portion size, it really won't be all that bad.

Edit: If I start to get hungry during mid-afternoon..I usually eat a plum or some cherries. Kiwi is also delicious as well.

So there's a group of us at work that will all start P90X, the official workout plans, next month. All of us are going to track our progress and see how we are when we finish the program just before Thanksgiving.

I've only been doing some of the workouts here and there but after one of our coworkers gets back from vacation we will all follow it strictly.

Nice...You should get a pool going to see who can lose the most weight etc. At least it will give you an incentive to keep going.

I've been sticking with it. I'm getting sick of Tony Horton though lol. Same exercises for 3 weeks and then you switch it up. Looking forward to doing some different workout. I'm halfway through week 3.

I've hit a plateau with my weight loss. I started around 250, and the first 20 pounds were pretty easy. The next 10 pounds were harder to lose, but now I've been stuck around 220 for about 2 weeks. I'm running 2.5-3.5 miles every day on my treadmill, with 30 seconds running 30 seconds fast walk intervals, at around 9 minutes a mile. I also do an ab workout every night and lift a couple times a week. I have been eating healthy but I might need to switch up my workout or something.

I upped my jog/powerwalk yesterday. Before it was 2.3 miles. Last night? 3.5 miles!

Took me just under 50 minutes.

That's tough. Plateau's really suck. I've been ranging from 224 ish. Today I weighed in @ 223 even which is the lowest I've been so far(during my diet) My goal is definitely 200(195 would be awesome! ) but right now I'm focusing on getting to the teens. Once I get there then I can focus on single digits etc.

You mention that you're eating healthy? What have you been eating? Maybe try and cut back on a few things. Running several miles a day should be helping you lose weight but like you said you're @ your plateau...certain sacrifices need to me made. Maybe pull a Gandhi as I call it and go on a juice fast for a day. It sucks but it works..."sacrifices = results"

I've been really bad this week. Pizza, and chips..thanks to the significant other. So now I'm paying for it. Today is a light calorie day for me. For b-fast I had some cherries.

This is my late-lunch/early dinner.

These Bumble Bee tuna snacks are a nice snack. About 200 calories with the crackers. And no I didn't eat both @ the same time...

Like I said you have to sacrifice some things. So I don't eat a big dinner anymore. Yesterday I had a huge steak and I was done eating by two. If I get hungry a little later today(which I will) I'll eat a plum and drink some water.

It all depends on how many calories you took in during the day. Your waistline will not be affected if you eat the same meal at 6 p.m. or 10 p.m. It’s when you don’t burn what you eat in a given day that you gain weight.

My goal is to burn more calories in a day then I eat.

Not bad at all. Today I've got Yoga...I hate it lol but I'll put up with it. Next week is all recovery so i'm looking forward to that.

I'm going to try to complete the Plyo X workout today.

The workout I love the most so far is Kenpo X.

I know I can finish Plyo if I just modify enough.

I used to like Kenpo X better than Plyo X, but the better shape I get in, the more I like Plyo. I also liked Yoga when I started the program, but it's just too long now and I'm not liking it so much anymore. I like most of the other workouts....I wish I looked like I do at the end of the workouts, all pumped, the rest of the time tho.
