The one on ebay who had it up for bid is now selling another copy for best offer and asking for nearly twice the amount the first one eventually sold for. I put in one and was rejected. Ithis has been listed for a few days now.

I'll pass on this one. I did not pay this much for Young Detective Dee 3D, and that one was the one title I'll spare no expense in getting.

yeah that's highly overpriced for what it is. I know it's rare but not worth that for any logical reason.

And notice it hasn't sold yet, along with Planes 2? His asking price for both is way more than the final bid he got for two previously auctioned ones and rejecting bids in that range now, Chutzpah if you ask me.

Yesterday again watched Imax Under the Sea from 2010.

Excellent 3D quality. Plenty of depth, detail and color saturation. And a great documentary too.

Starting with the Field of Garden Eels segment, began experiencing periodic crosstalk. Attributed this to being an early 3D bluray release. But on a hunch watched again tonight and those scenes were perfect. Some might recall I have experienced this before on rare occasions and on different players. The last time unplugging both the player and monitor for maybe five minutes eliminated the problem. Might just be one of those things that could happen now and then.

If one doesn't have this, highly recommend getting it. Used inexpensive copies are readily available.

Talking about a massage experience similar to the movie...read at your own risk.

[Show spoiler]I actually experienced that massage depicted in the movie in Southeast Asia. They call it Nuru (Nihonggo for "slippery") massage. It's the best massage I've known of. They use water-based gel and the lady that massged me was one of the most sexiest I have seen, very similar to the actress in this movie. So I might say I have seen this movie in 4D

Just out of interest do you use low or high lamp on your NX7 for 3D ?.

I use both in all honesty. Lately I’ve been doing the high lamp output on my darker live movies and low on cartoon 3D films. Cartoons are usually bright and punchy looking enough on low (more so on high) but I’m trying to make the bulb last as long as I can. I do have a spare bulb but I wanna hang onto it for as long as possible.

Watched Venom, like the movie the 3D was good not great. Tomorrow’s watch is the sequel in 4K. At least the 4K was only$8!

Edit: The sequel was not worth $8!

I recently picked up I, Frankenstein. I haven't sat down and watched it yet but from what I have seen it does look like a very nice 3D presentation.

It's a very underrated film. Excellent native 3d whose effects only enhance this intelligently written and well acted horror story.

Just again watched two animated features, "Adventues in Zambezia" (aka Zambezia) a South African production and "Snowtime" which is a Canadian release.

Cute, funny and poignant, both are gems the whole family can enjoy. Very pleasant 3D only adds to a delightful double feature. Right now snowtime is available through Hamilton Books for $5.98 plus shipping.

Highly recommended.

And so just ordered another underwater documentary: Diving 3D - Fascinating underwater worlds (Tauchen). This one explores what's underneath Phuket in Thailand (yeah, Phucket does sound like a four letter word lol) and the Siam Acquatic World in Bangkok.

The 3D got an excellent assessment from that reviewer who posts on Amazon Germany. English audio.

I think the conversion was done by DNEG. I'd say it wasn't anything like up there with their better efforts, but maybe has enough nice 3D moments to make it worth a watch. Whether the story itself makes the film worth a watch is going to be an even more personal opinion. (In my opinion, not really..!)
