Default How do you find international blu-rays?

I'm in the U.S. So far I haven't found the best way to shop around for what's available in Region B, maybe C. Sometimes I just want to look at a bunch of titles & see if any catch my eye. Other times I read here of people saying there's a better version of a certain movie available from the U.K. or Italy, etc.

This site doesn't say much about what's available in other regions. I've searched for a list of companies that release movies in the U.K. and got a list of maybe 100. What a pain to search each one...there has to be a better way...

OrbitDVD is a US based company that has an import section.
Diabolik DVD also sells imports.
Eureka / Masters of Cinema is a UK company that has free international shipping.

It really just depends on what you’re into and what movies you’re looking for.

This thread can help point to some international releases that are better than US ones

I either search the EAN of the release on eBay or just take the international Amazon link and replace the country ending with the US site ending (for example, .co.uk is replaced by .com).

I also recommend visiting Rarewaves.com which is a UK storefront that charges in your local currency, and they also have eBay and Amazon storefronts.

I tend to look at DVDbeaver on a regular basis. While I do not agree with their assessment of every movie (or even its PQ), it alerts me to releases from UK that I would otherwise not know about.
My #1 source for buying UK release is Rarewaves, with the exception of Eureka which I typically buy direct - especially when they run a sale.

Hope this helps.

Wow. Thank you everybody. So many good ideas and that post by HD Goofnut at 278 pages! My wife doesn't know it, but I'm about to spend a crapload of $$$. Thanks again.

To start with, browse the websites for the major UK boutique labels: Arrow, Eureka, Powerhouse Indicator, and 88 Films. If you hit those majors, you've already done most of your work. And you can sign up for their newsletters to stay informed of new releases and sales.

And on Blu-ray.com, peruse the forum's international threads, and select different flags on the main page to focus in on content from those countries. This site is super customizable, and they cover international releases.
