The cheapest native 4K LCOS projector on the market that has true native 4K light engine using three 0.69 inch LCOS imaging chips, only costs $5,499.95. The JVC DLA-RS1100 also offers HDR10+ and is a bargain when compared to $100,000-$200,000+ 4K DLP projectors.

However, the projector business has a lot of competition in regards to price and features. JVC now offers a native 1080P DLP projector that uses 4K pixel shifting technology to simulate 4K quality. The JVC LX-NZ30B only costs $3,499.99. I am a little surprised that JVC is getting into the DLP projector business. Many consumers do not want to pay for a entry level 4K LCOS JVC projector for $5,499.95 that offers true 4K and instead go with DLP projectors with 1080P imaging chips with pixel shifting to simulate 4K quality for $2,000 cheaper in price.

I am hoping that if one day JVC decides to expand on DLP projectors that they will consider designing DLP projectors with native 4K DMD imaging chips. But perhaps JVC will continue to make a selection of LCOS 4K projectors between the prices of $5,500 to $25,000+. If price is the real issue JVC could also make native 1080P LCOS projectors with 4K e-shift technology for maybe under $3,000. But then some consumers would be upset that JVC is no longer 100% 4K LCOS projector models. Its all these low end and low price DLP projectors on the market continue to gain market share who knows what the future will be for JVC and Sony when it comes to LCOS projector technology. I guess one will just have to wait and see what happens.
