I think the reason the iceberg isn't shown on the cover art is Paramount doesn't want to offend the community. Cameron probably doesn't want to imply that all icebergs are murderes so he doesn't have to deal with the idiot icebergs on Twitter.

And no, I am not joking.

That guy in an incompetent jerk and his review sucks.

I didn't actually watch the video -- I am just assuming his impressions won't agree with mine and are therefore wrong.

I love how the guy holds the case the whole time with an image of the same case right next to it.

Why does every review video person always feel the need to hold the case the whole time?

But that’s just me, you guys do whay you want, obviously.
Because people spend tons of money on these releases and when something is wrong it's only natural to discuss it. Discussing it can:

- Help rule out if it's a bad disc or player issue, or if it's a bad/flawed release.
- Help figure out what went wrong, and if it's correctable or unavoidable.
- Bring attention to others that there are issues with the release, to help decide if they want to spend their money on it.
- Possibly help bring the issue ultimately to the attention of the studio or label, who may issue a replacement if it's possible.

If a release is great, there's only so many times everyone can say, "this release is great!". If a release has issues, there can be lots of technical reasons why it may have issues, from the way the film was made, to how it has been stored/transferred/scanned, to how it was authored, and many other technical areas that all come together and may play a part in whatever issue a release may have. This is a site where people discuss the technical side of these releases. It's not YouTube.

And especially when these are releases that many in here have bought over and over, some of them like in this case just a few months ago with the previous release, it makes sense that people want to know why they should re-buy it again.

Lol, even with his small screenshots the 4K material looks sharpened AF.

The EE halos along the outer edge of the frame.

Mmm, so OCN, much wow.

Are those actually frame captures or screenshots?

I've never even seen Titanic.

Gonna watch it tonight to see if I want to pick up the 4K. 3+ hours is a big ask when you know everyone is toast.

That's so people can focus on the artwork and not the host. It's an act of mercy . I watch some of these videos but I usually avoid the ones where you're forced to look at the host's face. Most of those dudes are NOT ready for primetime.

Cope and seethe. Not every film needs to have a gritty 80's look complete full of dusty grain, and if a 4K doesn't have it doesn't mean it was DNR'd or edited in some form, there *are* films that just don't have much grain.

Not having the video have more grain than a prepubescent does NOT mean it's a bad 4K and please, I'm saying this as someone who absolutely has a fetish with film grain, cope and seethe.

JFC, the shot of the face of Dicaprio looks amazing. COPE and seethe, once more.
