I'm curious if anyone is as enamored of this fine movie as I am(?)
I really Love this movie! Great Story! Great Music by Dave Grusin. And... It has Fantastic Acting and World Class Directing by Mr. Redford. I see it is available on UV in 1080p but has anyone heard of a possible Blu-Ray Release? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095638/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Milagro_Beanfield_War |

I think this movie is an almost perfect film. It's sorta a Fairy Tale but the Sense of Peril is just as strong as a substantial Adventure. The Story is Wonderful and Solid. The Acting and the Characters are great. And the Direction is World Class.
I was hoping for a release but it seems this excellent Film is just not on anyone's radar. |

Watching it now and it looks lovely. Nice colors, grain, nice detail, audio sounds good to me... very saturated but natural. The DVD was pretty saturated too. The blacks are deep, but I can see some detail - not sure if it suffers from crush. I'd be curious what one of the experts here might think.
The beginning-shots of “Morning” are beautiful Magic Hour colors - a glorious pink & salmon sunup. Great music by Dave Grusin! Virtually every shot is composed and framed wonderfully - it's quite beautiful. Surprised no one here reviewed it. I think its a classic! A wonderful "heartfull" Fairy-tail.
