Always figured this might have some sort of EXPENDABLES 4 launch connection...timing would seem to indicate that it might. Hopefully we get info in the nearish future from Cliff but if they are still producing extras it just means the wait will be worth it.

Does anyone know if the expired digital codes for this film still works? I saw a used one for sale with the unused code, but if it is expired I probably can wait to buy it.

You should be ok with Lionsgate codes. I purchased Rambo III last Black Friday and it redeemed.

It’s the WB releases you have to be careful with.

That's for sure; I've gotten two or three used discs in the last couple weeks with expired codes where the WB didn't redeem them. Do you know if Universal is good with redeeming old codes?

You should be good if you get some old Universal codes. I redeemed Spotlight last week and that was a ‘16 release.

Im also hope that this Rambo set will be released in this year. I was very dissapointing by current 4K releases of Rambo films. I cannot stand color timing in those StudioCanal releases. In First Blood blacks are almost non existent and there is a lot of green filter in it. In case of Rambo 2 there is also some kind of gold/yellow hue, similiar to Raiders of the Lost Ark blu ray filter. And, there is Rambo 3 which is overly bright for example in stick fight, there is unnatural image. When I first time played StudioCanal releases I feel totally off - it is not Rambo films which I played to death on vhs and dvd. And even if current 4K in terms of image detail is very very nice I cannot stand StudiCanal color gradings. All three original films looks totally off for me.

It is a reason why I awaiting for this upcoming Lionsgate set - Im hope that there will be new color grading, much more faithful to cinematogpraphy of all films, Dolby Vision and of course new Atmos.

Im hope that we get some info about this upcoming set too.

Me too. In the meantme I’ve had the soundtracks on steady rotation. Goldsmith just killed it

I was just thinking about these films yesterday. How I wish the remasters would be announced. I'd love to get rid of all the various editions I own.

Well now it’s unofficially confirmed the Rambo set is coming out sometime next year by it not coming out this year, just wish I knew when.
