Russ Meyer - Blu-ray Forum

Hello everyone, did a search and was suprised to see this hasn’t been asked before but I was wondering if anyone has any idea if the Russ Meyer films will ever get a Blu-ray release?

Heard various theories that the rights holders want too much money or that the terms of the will only allow all the films to be licensed not single films which means it’s unfeasible. Also heard the negatives are rotting away uncared for. Either way it’s not looking promising

Anyone know of any likely hood of them being released or have any more concrete information?

The last rumor I heard was that the heirs of Russ Meyer are fightig about who of them owns the rights.

He didn’t have any family alas,

The rights were left to people who don’t care and want impossible money to license them.
