Is the BDP-320 similiar to the BD-23FD, What about the BDP-320 and BDP-120? I'm considering the BDP-320 to replace my Sony BDP-S1. Neither of the Pioneer players can play SADC's RIGHT?

Yes, the 23fd is very similar to the 320, just a bit more robust build quality. The BDP-120 appears to be just a rebadged Sharp, I would stay away from that one.

I have to say that I have never had issue one with anything with the word "Elite" on it other than the occasional firmware update on a Blu-ray player. I think if you are a casual viewer, then the 320 is fine. Home theater is a hobby/disease for me, and I don't mind paying the extra money for the very modest additions with the Elite and the higher build quality. That being said, these are slow loading players and do not play SACDs. I already have a DVD player that plays SACDs so the lack of that feature do not matter to me, and most people don't even know what a SACD is. I have a 23 on order that I should get today, and I will post my reactions. I just recently moved, so I have to pack up my system plus other rooms. I have a Pionner Elite DVD player and a non-Elite DVD player. I have never had them disconnected at the same time until now, and you can immediately tell the difference in build quality in the Elite. For many people, it might not be worth the extra cash.

Hi guys I purchased the 23fd two days ago and so far I am enjoying it . Picture quality is superb , CDs sound great and it upscales very good . Set up was easy and it has nice guide that uses good graphics . The only thing is it doesn't load extremly fast and once it does load there is like a two second blackout before it begins to play .( I think that only occured with blu rays ,a minor annoyance). Also remote is not lit . But if you are using a universal that is then who cares about that . Anyways I like it love it possibly , but like a women I can't say I love her yet it's to early . We began our relationship only two days ago (creepy comparison).
