I just finished watching the "Paley Festival" footage on Season 2, and it's INCREDIBLY IRONIC to hear Daniel Knauff say on the stage, (sitting beside the woman from HBO) that it was refreshing to have someone that wouldn't pull the plug early on the show, and that HBO was dedicated to seeing it through to the end. lol.
He said, and I'm paraphrasing, "there's nothing worse than getting to page 450 of a 900 page manuscript and having someone rip it out of your hands and throw it out the window", and then said that luckily they didn't have a situation like that, because HBO was going to see it through to the end. How funny (in a sad sad way) is that comment, considering what happened? |
