Remember to sit a little bit closer to the screen when you see 3D movies.

Enjoy!!!

Normal when I see 3D in IMAX I’m dead centre of the cinema so I can see the entire screen. By accident I bought a ticket that was closer to the screen. The experience was weird in that I was fully immersed and felt like I was ‘in’ the movie but the downside was I felt like I was watching tennis because I was having to turn my head to take in all the action.

I don’t know what I prefer with regard to watching a movie and seeing everything without having to turn my head or being immersed in a movie but having to turn my head.

I told that to him because at the same distance a 3D projection will look a little bit smaller than a 2D projection... well, that's in my experience anyway. I think is because of the new depth that 3D brings to the image, it looks like the image is far behind from the actual physical screen.
