How do the "remastered" DVDs from Madman fit in here? It has the Flying Dog logo on the cover, so it would be from the time the DVD box was released in Japan. I assumed the FD box set would just be the same 1999 DVD masters that Victor released, am I wrong? Too bad they are PAL.

As for the myth of TRIGUN not being popular in Japan, why does that persist? The original DVDs are "premium" prices on the used market and the 2010 box set is "super premium"! Hell, even the LDs are not cheap!

If it was so un-popular, that would not be the case. It is just a damned shame that FD have not issued those DVDs again, especially with the TOHO show being made.
