Question Has anyone used/seen a multi-panel screen set-up before?

I was scrolling through eBay for good deals on discs, as has become way too regular for me, and saw some 3D discs that tempted me, so I went to look at secondhand 3D TVs on the site. When I have done that in the past, I only have found things that won't ship and are too far to pick up, no matter how good the price was. Today, however, I also saw this item with a starting bid of $40,000!

I felt the need to share this. I don't know what to say other than to ask:

(a) Do you think this is a legit seller? Not that I could ever buy this.
(b) Is this as good as a setup as his item description makes it out (to an amateur home theater enthusiast like me)?
(c) With a multi-panel screen set, can you get distracted by the lines between the connecting screens? How does that work?

I have seen them in places like airports.

They can be used but I think anyone who could have the same thing without the grid would prefer that.

There are newer versions of this where the panels are so close the grid doesn't seem to exist in the image. Look up Samsung The Wall for an example.

I would like to do all my surfaces with this some day .... maybe virtual reality would be easier.
