exactly and IMHO the worst is that many of those variables are not limited.

If someone has Netflix and prime and Netflix has issues they can still watch prime but if it is the ISP issue then it is not just Netflix and it is not just prime, it is also on-line gaming, checking out face book, listening to Spotify.... most of the modern day leisure activities.

I think everyone gets it (even if some want to turn a blind eye to the facts.

It is easier to dismiss the "quality of A/V" argument when you pretend it is the other persons isp/wi-fi that is causing the easily observable difference

no, that is you. How many UHD BDs have you seen?

The assumption is just because you have a Disc you can play it on a Low End Player and Display, and get better Quality than Streaming! IMO that is far from the Truth!
no assumptions on my part, I have eyes I have ears, I have brought films to other peoples homes/cottages that have old TVs. We don't need to build an opinion on ridiculous assumptions.

A properly set up crappy display won't destroy information that is correct and there and the most amazing display cannot add or correct information that is lacking.

Correction, this is the one we have, not the 1986 one:

The Brian Cox charter really cracks me up.

those are all "bad" decisions by the powers that be, but all else being equal (i.e. same studio master is used by the studio) the limits of both technologies are not the same which much more often than not means watching it on UHD BD will look better then UHD streaming..

I like both of those films. Though I haven't seen the 1986 one since perhaps 1986.... I was quite the Ozzy fan back then.

I actually have the soundtrack to the 86 film on vinyl from back in the day since I was a Fastway fan and they were behind it. Movie wise, I much prefer Trick ‘r’ Treat though and have a Funko of little Joey amongst the collection and pop in the Blu-ray every year around Halloween.

Have you tried Tales Of Halloween? Equally effective in my opinion.

It's a damn fine cake, too! I wish I could share it with you all.

A friend bought me a full size replica of Bilbo/ Frodo's sword Sting, which I could use to cut it if I weren't so respectful of Elven sword smithing.
