“What could go wrong?”- Stockton Rush

I’ve been getting a lot of Amazon packages delivered by UPS as of late.

How do you guys feel about researching when you are looking to buy something new? I'm kind of impulsive so sometimes I just want to buy something right away and I tend to have a hard time focusing at times.

Depends on the item for me. The more $..the more you want to research…

Keep focused and get your hands on all the info you can. Consult your friends as they can steer you in the right direction. A lot of times that second opinion from a friend can go a long way.

Phones can be simple as we all need one and you’re either Team Android or Team iPhone. You get your hands on it and it’s pretty easy to choose from there within a few mins.

I go pretty hard core when it comes to researching a new vehicle. I don’t think impulse buying a new vehicle is wise unless it’s a Ferrari. 5 mins behind the wheel is not nearly enough for your ever day vehicle. Did you test the AC out ‘cause the modern ones suck!

The dealers crack me up. “Let me get the keys”…and off we go. Of course you’ll like it as it’s a new car and likely drives 90% better than your current vehicle. Before you drop 50k on a new vehicle, it’s a good idea to think it over. I mean hell…even the Ghostbusters stayed overnight in the firehouse before signing on the dotted line.

I had a TLX for the afternoon. I like the look of it but the interior is ridiculously cheap lacking soft touch material and loaded with plastic parts. While the seats are leather with alcantara inserts, the lower end models come in synthetic leather with no perforation. Even the center armrest was cheap plastic with fake stitching. I did not check the AC being that it’s winter but this vehicle is notorious for a crappy AC. Acura responded saying they put in a smaller compressor and nothing can be done…except roast in summer!

I’d be ticked if I purchased this car plus the mpg is only 20 city. I’ll prolly either go Audi or BMW.

With that being said..what are you looking to buy?

Stay away from the BMW, Volkswagen/Audi and Volvo Groups! While they’re much better than General Motors, the Fiat/Chrysler Group, Tesla, Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover, Ford and Lincoln, the BMW, Volkswagen/Audi and Volvo Groups will drain your bank account, too.

Stick with Lexus! It’s the most satisfying, most theft resistant, safest, highest quality, most reliable, most dependable, including the strongest air conditioning, heating and ventilation in its class, and most efficient brand in its class! Plus, Lexus costs much less to maintain, operate and run in every aspect than every brand in it’s class and has the best service in it’s class!

I'm thinking about it a lot. Well not long, deep thoughts but it just keeps popping into my head. I've already made a few posts so I'm trying not to talk about it too much lol But I've mentioned wanting a SxS which isn't feasible. So I was thinking about looking into getting a scooter to putt around on but now I'm wondering if I might like a motorcycle instead. I don't know anything about motorcycles but I think a cruiser would be what I'd go for.

And a week ago or so, you asked me why I only ordered 5 of the 7 Criterions my buddy wanted. I searched for all seven and I'm pretty sure that they were all in stock and I added each one to the cart. I was in such a hurry to check out that the only thing I really reviewed was the shipping address. It wasn't until after I placed the order that I realized that The Last Picture Show 4K and The Lost Honor Of Katharina Blum weren't included in the order. I'm not sure what happened. He was cool with it though and happy to get the ones that we did. And like I said, I really did hit submit with like 5 seconds left. Him being online at that time while being 9 hours ahead really helped as well.

Took the wife to the Cheesecake Factory last night. We fancy like that. Well, you can't go to the Cheesecake Factory and not get a slice of cheesecake for dessert. The conundrum is their plethora of cheesecake offerings. Let me tell you about the ultimate red velvet cheesecake. One of the few times the Grail Knight has said I chose wisely.

Never order cheesecake to go from there. Always dine in for it. The slices are much smaller for take out orders.

How would you go about transporting the SxS?

Well that's why it's not practical right now. I wouldn't be able to. I'd have to blaze my own trail up to the mountains since it wouldn't be street-legal

I would love a Porsche someday if driving one ever becomes financially viable but more in a blue or red, not purple.

I’ve never been a Porsche guy. They’re the most common and affordable sports car around 100k and I see ‘em everywhere. Even Doug DeMuro owns the very rare and expensive Carerra GT and he said it does not draw the same attention as a Ferrari would get….because it’s just a a Porsche but a very special one. If ya know, you know.

With that being said and the Carrera GT as the exception, Porsche is a sports car you can daily drive unlike a Ferrari or Lamborghini. Hence why I see them everywhere.

Yeah Ferrari and Lamborghini are showcase cars, not practical cars, which is why it's very likely I'd never own one.

Plus, they break a lot, as does everything in the BMW, Volkswagen/Audi and Volvo Groups. Sure, vehicles in the corporations that I mentioned are much better than Ford, Lincoln, Jaguar, Land Rover, Range Rover, Tesla and everything in the Fiat/Chrysler Group and General Motors.

But every vehicle in the BMW, Volkswagen/Audi and Volvo Groups will also drain your bank account.
