I own this steel. I didn’t even bother upgrading to 4K cause I find the cover (both slipcover and steelbook) irritatingly ugly.

I kind of loved these. I have similar ones for Iron Man, HP and the Half-Blood Price, and Watchmen. Dark Knight is the worst one though as it has a weird rubbery texture that's sticky now, and became a dust magnet. The others are just regular plastic.

Just putting this out here, but as of now, Batman and Robin is the only Batman movie thus far to feature Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Batgirl (in a movie), and a live action Robin.

Let that sink in.

OMG I would scream if we got a Catwoman cover for Batman Returns. Especially if it was the character poster from 1992, but I don't think they would do it unless they did a 3 Collect-Them-All style release of Batman and The Penguin to go along with it. The original poster would be ideal though since its simple and to the point. I'd be fine with an illustrated cover if it was well-made like that Hell Here design by Lucas Tetrault or Rich Davies for Mondo.

I own Batman Returns on steelbook and I don't mind it since it goes with the first steelbook / Digibook and it has snow on the Bat Symbol. I think its the teaser poster with non-original font for the title.

It's a shame Warner's effort on these newer ones is low, seeing as they could milk this, being the original two Batman films (and yes, I consider the Burton Batman films their own thing).


For Batman & Robin, I wouldn't mind a homoerotic cover lol. But I don't see that happening since there was so much discourse about the nipples and cod pieces when the film was released from what I've read. I actually don't mind the poster for that if they decided to go that route.
