Hopper was good on Umbrella Academy (I only saw the first two seasons). I think he'll be good in this role. He's looks like a big dude. I can believe he'd be a Navy Seal.
This is a prequel so that means [Show spoiler] .

Trailer just dropped
Looks good, but I wish they did a second season of The Terminal List instead of a prequel. From the looks of it, it seems like Pratt is only going to be 1-2 episodes. Kitsch has been doing some pretty good work the last few years. |

First episode was fine. Mostly about the mission about what Ben did that (probably) gets him kicked out of the navy. That said I can't imagine anyone without a pulse (or children) doing exactly what he did in that situation with Al Jabari. But it just showing, in my opinion, that our soldiers were in a war that were never really meant to win.
I like Tom Hopper are Raife Hastings. He's actually one of the major supporting characters in the James Reece books. Seems like this prequel is a way of introducing him before he shows up in later seasons of The Terminal List. I will say that everyone constantly calling each other "brother" is getting repetitive. Once I noticed it, it started driving me crazy. |

Second episode was a lot better with Ben and Raife, after getting kicked out of the SEALs, getting recruited into CIA mission to get revenge on the guy who killed Amiri's family in episode 1. All the stuff with Ben and Raife meeting their team and undercover at the night club. That was all great. I might've liked this episode more than anything in Pratt's season of the show.
I do think it was a little too easy for the agent (played by Bunny Colvin from The Wire) to recruit Ben and Raife into working for the CIA. I get the idea that they don't know how to live civilian life and want to be involved with the action (especially Ben). But the CIA just ruined their lives over what happened in the first episode. I think they should have shown a little more reluctance (especially Raife) to work with the CIA. An organization that's shadowy dealings caused many people to be killed last episode. I'm sure it'll be the story of the season of Ben and Raife getting further from their original goal as they entrenched more and more with the CIA. Assuming Raife gets out before he loses his soul while Ben doesn't. Last edited by BloodshotUSA; 08-31-2025 at 12:24 AM. |

Finished episode 3. Show is getting better and better I think.
We meet the rest of the team. Mo is apart of the team and we find out that Jed (Bunny from The Wire) already knew Mo, the SEALs translator from the first episode. Mo provided the SEALS with the info that got Raife and Ben kicked out of the military. Wouldn't be surprised if we find out that Jed gave it to Mo and he's been manipulating Ben and Raife from the start. This series is good at ratcheting up the tension. Especially at the end of these last two episodes. I thought for sure Mo was done for at the end. Instead it wound up being [Show spoiler] character. Already seeing Ben start to go down the rabbit hole, [Show spoiler] in such a public place. Including with a kid nearby.Ben's gonna hook up with that Mossad agent. |
