can you easily copy/paste files?
can you choose which icons appear on the desk?
can you right click on an icon to have options like Windows? (or other system to delete, have properties ...)
can you switch to the XMB easily?
Fedora is close but till requires a lot of command line stuff that makes the dos prompt look like kiddie stuff.

I have not tried ubbunto, but i did use SUSE 10.1 for a while on one of my PCs (not PS3), It's probably the closest to Windows and noob freindly linux i have tried. I recently installed 10.2 on a virtual machine for study. You can pretty much use it with out ever using the Shell (linux's command prompt). Pretty much everything to do basic computing is included out of box so to speak (there is no box it's a free ISO you download and burn your self). To add media, disc burning, and other cool stuf is as easy as finding repositories through google or forums, then placing the url in YAST (sort of windows update, but better, because you can download apps and stuff), then let it do the hard work for you.

But alas I need windows to study for my MCSE. Only IT pros with 5 years exp can monkey with the Unix or Linux based servers, they are 100% command line driven save some Linux packages, but still command heavy. entry level IT is stuck fixing Windows and dealling with noobs.
