I'll wait for the inevitable cheaper re-release with original theatrical cover art, just like I did with "The Man Who Shot Liberty Wallace." And I'll do the same with "Once Upon a Time in the West" as well. Obviously, depending on that Paramount doesn't scrub the life out of them.

I've seen the 4k streaming of both and To Catch a Thief is an all time travesty and the Paramount Executive who has defended it is delusional. From what I remember Chinatown has it's moments of botox but wasn't Catch a Thief bad. I could at least get through watching Chinatown, I only watched a few minutes of the other.

I know those aren't proper screencaps, but they generally look better than the 4K stream I watched a few years ago. Fingers crossed.

The issue is...highly unlikely Paramount matches the encoding of K-Scape.

Why not include a remastered 1080p disc like all the previous titles in this line for people who are simply not interested in 4k?
No problem. Paramount will simply not get any of my money and I will torrent the remastered video when it's out. Thanks for nothing.

This'll probably go ignored like my other posts on the topic but this is why the mono's inclusion would be significant, basically the remix just sucks

Remixes often suck, we know this, so I'm not sure what kind of traction you expected your posts to get
