RESULTS: The Blu-ray.com Community Top 25 Films of 2023

I love the John Wick films, but felt Chapter Four wasn't a great JW film due to Bill Skarsgård's character. He was simply not a good head villain in the JW universe. I still ranked JW4 towards the bottom of my Top 20 list. So that was a big surprise for me... seeing JW4 ranked second.

Another Top Films yearly ranking in the book. Well done thewerepuppygrr!

A dominating win for Oppenheimer to be sure, but with one of the best years in a long time for cinema as evidenced by this list, it feels as if we moviegoers were the real winners in 2023.

Tenet came to mind when thinking about a year Nolan must’ve lost. And I just checked, it still made it to number 3 in 2020 despite being one of Nolan’s lesser recieved films:

Yes. The only times he's won were 2010, 2012 and 2023. That being said, Interstellar, Dunkirk and TENET did all land in the top five of their respective years.

Glad to see Flash and Indy make the top 20. I think Dungeons and Dragons should have been higher than 25 though, that was a real pleasant surprise.

From the top 10 I've only seen John Wick 4, GotG 3 and MI: Dead Reckoning part 1. I liked MI but was ambivalent about JW 4 and hated GotG 3.

I'd imagine a lot more people saw Ant Man 3 than No Hard Feelings. Plus it's the MCU, even when people seem to not like the movies, they still chart.

I was kind of surprised Aquaman 2 didn't make the list at all though, i guess people really did hate that one. I would have voted for it but didn't see it until after the poll closed, as the UK physical release date was just a few days after.
