I'm assuming that's referring to just the BD, since UHDs are supposed to be region-free (I know that's not always the case). Unless the licensor requested it to prevent reverse-imports from Japan, who knows..

The B logo is on the 4k disc itself if you zoom in. Could be a mistake but we have had more and more of these B locked 4ks cropping up recently so I wouldn't be surprised.

It wouldn't be a problem for me cos I am in the UK na d have a Region Free player regardless, but it is weird and I wouldn't want to see more of this happening.

Let’s hope the UK BD also has 2 hours of extras!

These are the MUBI extras: Q&A with Director Wim Wenders, "Somebody Comes into the Light" short film, "Perfect Days" booklet.

They're definitely not identical, particularly when it comes to the Q&A, which might be the interview on the Italian disc, or something different entirely. I wouldn't be surprised as there are many lengthy Wenders interviews around. I think I'll pick up a copy of the Italian BD for this interview instead of the MUBI BD.

Somebody Comes into the Light is a good inclusion, but I really feel with titles like Tokyo-Ga I should just learn other languages.

There were a few different Q&As in the UK at Curzon and Picturehouse - found some US NEON ones.

Learning more languages is always great as you start thinking differently when you’re doing something in another language but in the case of films you could force other languages into yours if you like.
If you’re capable of adding external subtitles, you can replace foreign tracks with English or any other language and make an otherwise incompatible release instantly available to you.

Regarding the Q&A’s and Interview: I tried to find other Lucky Red releases to see whether they’re aware of the difference between a Q&A and a traditional interview but didn’t find anything. I have a feeling it’s an interview as described. We’ll see soon, I’m looking forward to the release.
