Depends on the game. For the Mass Effect series, I leave film grain On because it gives it a '70s sci-fi vibe. For Stellar Blade, I didn't even notice the film grain effect, since there are so many (well implemented) layers of filters and particle effects. I love how well they have squeezed as much juice out of UE4, despite my initial scepticism when playing the beach sequence of the demo.

Besides NG+ the game got some bug fixes along with artwork changes to some walls because people on the internet don’t know or understand the language we refer to as English.

Not gonna lie. I had to Google the new meaning of "Hard R" since I only know that phrase as a description of movies that really go out of their way to earn themselves an R rating. I would never have guessed n____r. Personally, I doubt the devs at Shift Up had any malicious intent in mind.

Sorry was small YouTube channel. I watched it just a few times. It’s legit because I saw the locked door opened as you make your way up to the staircase. It was a short clip with no commentary.
A little more context

This person showed the whole game boot up. You select your language & HDR settings, then it asks if you want to use your demo save? X to Ok that & you are at main menu with Continue on screen. X that, you are back at supply camp right before boss.

I think I get you now. And had the glitch accidentally unlocked the full game, I'd feel inclined to agree. As it stands, this feels more like an extra taste of a sample of a potential meal. It's not enough to sate my hunger, but it certainly opened my appetite far more than the first bite offered.

If you're interested in playing this game, steer clear of YouTube. People are already posting spoiler videos. I just stumbled on one whose screenshot and title are a major spoiler (that confirmed a story beat I admittedly suspected. What's worse is that the thumbnail was designed in such a way to fool you into thinking it's an official PlayStation video.

Not a bad thing.

However I did notice the glitch area definitely had performance issues because it’s not meant to accessible.

The last supply camp. If you are there & fast travel to the parking garage, the game then averages 41 FPS. However if you rest at parking garage immediately the fps jump right back to 60 FPS.

Imported my demo save with no issues (I didn’t play that much nor go into the glitch area). Opted to fast travel back to the start of the level to fight the enemies along the way again etc. to refamiliarize myself with the controls as I hadn’t played much since the day the demo dropped, beat Abaddon again on first try (though was a close call as I’m still rusty), saved at the camp up there and calling it a night since it’s 1am.

Looking forward to playing more tomorrow.

If you bought deluxe & pre-order, you don’t get those items until you reach Xion for the first time.

My game didn’t have the 2 boxes.

So I did this,

Close game
Restart PS5
Restore GAME LICENSES
Deleted Demo
Deleted Demo save
Loaded up Full Game
Loaded Save from Menu

Boom!

2 boxes magically appeared.

Wow, the Effort to get what you paid for.

I think Derb already had the progress flow into the full game as a save and then deleted the demo as well as the demo version of that save he initially transferred from. Admittedly these seem to be baby troubleshooting steps but anybody remember when you just put a disc in and played

Personally hope you guys don't get more spoilers. I try to generally stay off the game videos and stuff bar a few trailer watches.

Read that they preorder and ditgital deluxe outfits are in a chest by Adam’s ship in Xion. Post I read said you have to beat a boss there then go back to the ship and you can get them then. Apparently 5-8 hours in depending on how much exploring and backtracking one does vs. beelining the main path.

Edit: Missed your follow up post that you had another issue and got it sorted.

But yep, the restore licenses function will usually sort issues with bonus content not showing up in games on PS5.

I was able to order from Target’s website. I held off on the pre-order to use my Circle rewards since Target pre-orders don’t arrive on release day. Ironic.

Not too big of a deal though; the order is saying it will be here Sunday, seems to be coming from a store an hour or so away.

Yeah I retained all my stuff because the game save is different than the demo save.

If you grinded Gold don’t do this mistake I made

I had 144000 Gold & in the first map, vending machines carry all 3 types of Polymer for sale. Extreme only costs 30 Gold. Then Advanced for 20 & regular for 10.

Once ya reach Xion, the vending machines don’t carry Polymer. So if you have Gold, stock up on this!

They want 25 Extreme Polymer, 75 advanced & 100 regular for 1 outfit. Also some Hairstyles cost 25 Extreme too.

You mean the vending machines at the camp, right? I never noticed they sell anything other than potions, bombs, and the sp resets. Am I blind?!? LoL

Edit: have you tried using the telephone to go back to the previous areas and see if you can still buy it?

Yeah the camps after the first boss is where ya can buy polymer. In the city section.

When you reach Xion you have to progress the story before you can return. I’ve covered most side quests in Xion already & just finished a story related boss.

That said, once I got the gun unlocked, the vending machines no longer carried polymer anywhere in Xion or the Wastelands.

Not a huge deal. But I am curious if when I’m allowed to go back to the city wether or not polymer will be available.
