As for the film, it was beautifully made and very 'enjoyable', however much like the reviewer on this site, I don't know how many times I will watch it as whilst the ending was beautifully shot, acted etc, it had such a strong sense of hopelessness that it can be very difficult to watch. I will say I did find Kates performance to be the weakest part of the film, albeit it was still very good I found that it paled in comparison to DiCaprio and the supporting cast. That being said, I do intend on buying it on blu when I see it at a reasonable price (it always seems to be $40 or more in AU, which makes me ).

If anyone has watched the deleted scenes I really do wish they kept the scene when Dicaprio comes home after being at the hospital (when he reads the letter and how he reacts is stunning and I have no idea why it wasn't included in the film).
