Thanks. Just a check up but a few years ago they thought I had skin cancer based on my history as a lifeguard and being in the sun for years.

That was a rough one. Had to cut a piece of my skin off about the size of a quarter.
Just finished it, guessing it is the woman I interviewed with in-person before that would be the one to determine if I go to the next step. Also guessing she will remember me almost immediately and decide not to move me to the next step but fingers crossed, even if it is part time. Since my 9-3 guy is Monday-Wednesday, my preference would be Thursday, Friday and a weekend shift, at which point I would leave CK since 24 hours a week would be much more consistent than what CK could give me as supplementary/PRN hours.

It seems slow but that's not unusual, forums have been kinda glitchy for me pretty much all week. Might be traffic issue, dunno.

So we got a bit more info regarding the Scottie Scheffler arrest at the Valhalla golf course in Kentucky during the PGA Championship last weekend.

Here is the best clip.
https://x.com/JoePompliano/status/17...7Ctwgr%5Etweet
It can be hard to see but focus on the upper left corner where the white fence is leading into the club. You'll see a slow moving car approach with a cop in a reflective vest "run" after it. He was not dragged and pants appear to be on. It's also worth mentioning that the cop was disciplined for not having his body cam active lol.

A longer clip can be found here along with a dash cam.
https://nypost.com/2024/05/23/sports...before-arrest/

I wish we had better footage but I think the video of the car with the cop "chasing it" as if he's the Joker is really all we need.

All charges will be dropped.

At Denny's having lunch and wondering what I want to do afterward. I took the bus today so whatever I decide on will require a longer trip than normal. I may just end up going home. Not sure yet.

On approaching that tipping point with age on one side and the number of movies I own (and growing) on the other... There's a point coming up (not terribly far off) where I will no longer have enough time to watch them all. I'm not super OLD, but.. it's.. ponderous, man.

Last week Wal-Mart contacted me and told me to update my billing information for Wal-Mart+ so they could charge me for $108 for another year of membership. I ignored that request thinking they would cancel my membership on my own but then they charged me anyway somehow and today I had Wells Fargo block the payment. Quite broke right now, can't justify paying full price for a service I haven't used since last year. Free delivery is nice but you also have to be home right when the groceries are dropped off and the gas definitely costs less than the $5+ tip I was paying drivers for every delivery.

Hmmmm.... I use Instacart and I never have to be home for the deliveries to be dropped off. The gas and delivery fees are a little exorbitant, but I don't drive and it does help. I may try Walmart+ since I have a monthly subscription to them.

Yeah it's just if it's refrigerated goods they need to come in immediately, especially in this heat. We also live at the top of a hill on a loop so there's deliveries that go to the wrong houses.

Before I left Applebee’s the girl brought me a Diet Pepsi to go. I went to the restaurant I used to work at to hang out a bit. I put the drink in the walk-in to keep it cold and I forgot it there. Wouldn’t care too much except I’m out of soda at home

On my mind right now ...

He's right; 3D sound was born to match with 3D picture.
But we knew that already since the creation of Dolby Atmos.
Now what we truly need is 3D Dolby Vision...or holographic moving picture.

4K is fantastic, and AI takes care of older flicks in that department.
The results might not satisfy our expert eyes but it is what it is.
...Till intelligent engineers learn how to do their job. ...One day we'll get there.

Enjoy each and every single day, because the next might be the last.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space vs Predator… I’d buy that for a dollar.

I’m not falling for it-the Atmos re-issue. I’m sure in months WB will release a 4K.

Debating how I’ll handle my latest Shout order. Several discs with scratches.
