The Ugly 1997

Anyone know this movie? It's got a DVD, and when I started collecting Blu-ray, I sold my copy thinking Amazon had a Blu-ray, but it ended up being a totally different movie. This is one of the strangest serial killer movies out there. It's got an arthouse feel to it. A lot of odd choices that I love. The characters are bizarre.

The DVD claims to be uncut/uncensored, but the VHS has an extended scene in it. I would have to go back and look for it, so I can't exactly recall what it is. It's been about 10 years since I watched this last. I think I need to get the DVD back...

One of the biggest things about this movie is I want the soundtrack. The song Knife by The Crash is nowhere on the internet. I can only find it in the movie itself. And it's just an excerpt in the bar scene. I have searched many different directions. When I got Facebook 5 years ago I searched for the names of the performances on the song, but couldn't find anyone who knew anything about it.

Possibly if Severin or Synapse could get a hold of the rights to release this movie, maybe they could find the song and include a CD. Even though I am not a fan of Severin, I almost want them to get it because they tend to release movies pretty quickly. Synapse being a better company when transfers are concerned would be best. But I want it now. NOW!
