Great news, the new KINO streaming service is available now on all the major platforms: Apple, Android, Amazon Fire, Roku...
https://kinofilmcollection.com/ I subscribed for a year for a mere 60 bucks. |

Unless and until they have all their movies (not just international films) with subtitles, it's a deal breaker for me. Please advise if that has changed, thanks. (I tried the link, no info).

All the movies I've seen so far have subtitles. It's safe to say all of them, or at least a vast majority, have subtitles.
Besides, you have a 7-day free trial so you can see for yourself without spending a dime. |

We just went live last week and will be adding more titles weekly.
https://kinofilmcollection.com/ We also have apps on Roku, AppleTV, Fire, and soon Android. Here's the announcement for more clarification. https://kinofilmcollection.com/news/...ilm-collection Use code KINO20 for discount on annual subscriptions, there's a 7-day free trial. Service is available in USA and Canada (some titles not available in Canada due to rights) We're also available on Amazon Channels (USA only) as a separate subscription. Apparently Kino Now is shutting down. We can download files for purchased films through the end of the year but it seems the KN apps and playback methods are going away.
WHICH REALLY SUCKS.... I guess I should have known better. Will not be "buying" anything other than physical copies from boutique labels moving forward. Kino Lorber, do better. |

Sorry for you and every other Kino Now client, but that doesn't surprise me in the slightest. SVOD is where it's at, while for TVOD I think only the giant-backed iTunes and Amazon Prime would suffice and survive.
So I totally understand KINO putting all their eggs on the KFC basket. P.S. to the mods: There are 22 brand icons to choose from when you post, but KINO LORBER is not among them. Criterion is there, and even an obsolescence like Dreamworks is too, so I'd like to have a KL icon as well. P.P.S. to the mods: also, any chance of making this a sticky thread? I think if the Criterion thread is sticky, you might as well stick this KFC thread too. |

I signed up for this. They don’t have an android app yet, so it works very poorly on my smart TV. They say they will have an android app in a week or two. I’m hopeful for that because I can’t really use it until they release that. My TV runs GoogleTV and third party browser apps are funky with their service… lots of buffering and I can’t view in full screen.

I think everyone is waiting for that, the Studio Classics from the 30s, 40s, 50s... but it's understandable that those would be the hardest to get the streaming rights to.
That's why it' so crucial the service succeeds in the long term, in order to be a real, complete KINO Film Collection worthy of that name. |

Every month, they issue a dispatch filled to the brim with wordy, bombastic copy: https://www.criterion.com/current/ca...on-the-channel Come to think of it, pretty much every streaming service delivers a monthly bulletin announcing their upcoming novelties. But Criterion is the best at it. |

![]() We’re working hard on Android app. It was completed and submitted well ahead of launch but we’re still waiting for approval. We hope soon. |

It'd be great with KSC catalog. Probably 99%+ of their blus have been that line for me.
