I'm in the same boat as you. I've got some Amazon Gift Cards to spend; hoping Amazon matches the prices on the ones I want to grab: The Game, Bull Durham, Fear and Loathing (4K), and True Stories.

Hopefully Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid 4k goes down to 34.99. 49.99 is a bit steep.

Anyone seeing a ton of title out of stock online and in stores? A number of movies I was watching planning on picking up are completely unavailable. Detour, The Blob, War of the Worlds, Godzilla, heck, even Robinson Crusoe on Mars is out. Anyone else noticing this?

They’re back for me too. That’s odd. And I just spent as much on the sale as I could.

I can't recall the last time I've tried, but you might be able to easily cancel your order through your account, and place a new one.

I’ll have to check, but I don’t think I can bring myself to spend anymore until next payday.

The Criterion Blue blu-ray was framed incorrectly (too low if I remember correctly), it's fixed on the 4k. White had an audio problem, but they did fix that on the blu-ray with a re-press.

The Blu-ray did drop down to $19.99 this morning. It's possible it went OOS at B&N briefly and Amazon's bots raised theirs back up. It'll likely go back down again. The 4K is just $5 more, and comes with the Blu-ray too, so I think that's the better value personally.

I honestly think Criterion might release Dead Presidents this year, or next year its a great film and I'm watching it on Tubi's streaming service currently for free and it looks gorgeous in HD. It looks really dang good, and honestly if there's one company that can break through with Disney it's Criterion. I wouldn't be surprised if Criterion is trying to make a deal with Disney right now.

I would be, but we’ll see how the All Of Us Strangers release pans out and if there will be more titles to come.

It's also possible that Andrew Haigh had it in his contract, so it's another one-off.

Biggest sign that Fox/Disney is back on the table would be something like The Leopard getting a 4K.

"Deliverance" and "Let the Right One In" on 4K would be great October releases.

I said this a while back but the only Disney/Touchstone I want from Criterion is Never Cry Wolf. It's a beautiful film that needs a Blu release.

yes but criterion hates the hughes bros for some reason. They skipped them over the blu-ray era entirely.
