Watching mine now. The gorgeous transfer coupled with the impressive depth and separation makes for a pleasantly immersive experience.
Kudos to the EyePop team on another terrific product. Looking forward to Plan D! ![]() |

Wondered why I didn't get mine yet. Logged on, and see that I must have missed the messages and I hadn't verified my postal address. Guess I'll be waiting a little bit longer.
Glad to hear folks are happy with it! |

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought I saw Phil3D, pop in over on the Owl3D Discord? I'm a user of that 2D 3D software and it's Anaglyph converter is pretty great right now. I know it's 2D 3D is not yet at the Studio Edit Phase they have planned in future releases.
However I got my shipment in of AIPOP-3D: The Last Man on Earth and Horror Express! I already had Scream Factory Remaster of Horror Express and did Owl3D on that. From my eye and v1.4.7 Owl3D was pretty close in 3D Depth to AIPOP-3D Horror Express. |

The issue with anaglyph conversion of course is that most viewers want frame-packed 3D so that's really the starting point for us. Anaglyph is then a very simple step once the conversion is done. The beauty of anaglyph for conversions, especially ones that are "one-click", is that it hides a great deal of the flaws - something that is glaringly obvious on a polarised display can be quite innocuous when viewed in anaglyph. The best option to provide consistent and good quality results is still the process as roughly outlined in our Livestream last year, which is included on the "Nightmare Castle 3D" disc and is discussed fairly in-depth on Alex's bonus about the conversion process on the "House on Haunted Hill 3D" disc. |

Sorry I forgot to follow-up. It is a great conversion and worthy of it's two great stars Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Need anything more be said?

All right, just got mine in the mail the other day. I haven't watched the whole thing, but I did give it a spot-check on my system.
The 3D looked great and had a nice, pleasing depth throughout. What surprised me a bit, though, was how good the picture looked in general--both in sharpness and color. I think I only have the earlier Blu-ray, and not the recent Arrow one, so I've probably watched this in less-than pristine quality in numerous formats over the years. As it's one of my favorite horror movies, it was awesome to not only see it in 3D, but to also have it look so sharp in general. And I forgot that I had ordered the Platinum edition, which came with a few extras. They really knocked it out of the park with those 3D lenticular lobby cards--so cool! Really great choices for the images they selected. I especially love the one of Telly Savalas holding out his pistol, with the soldiers behind him. All in all, an excellent release that I give a big thumbs-up to! What are we supposed to do to register the tickets? I looked through this thread and on the website quickly, but I didn't see the details. |

Really enjoyed this, between the story, PQ, and 3D. The cherry on top was Telly Savalas hammin' it up in the last act. Another great production!

I watched this on Saturday with soda. I thought this movie was pretty cool. I think it's definitely the best movie they've converted so far. It's a mystery and a whodunit on a train but it has several unexpected twists, not the sort of stuff I would have expected in a 70s movie. And it has the Star Wars general so that's pretty cool. The 3D is on par with their other 3D conversions, in mostly medium and medium strong. There were also some cool shots down the length of a railcar when it went strong. Also this one is in color whereas most of the others are black and white, I definitely prefer color. No specials on this one other than the trailer. I definitely recommend this one though since the movie is so cool and the 3D definitely adds a lot to it!

As there has been so many requests for the last few remaining lenticular slipcovers and no real fair way to distribute them I have put them on an ebay auction with 100% of the money raised going to Parkinson's Research.
So if you'd like one and/or would like to support the charity it would be much appreciated. |
