What's the chances that these orders get canceled, especially the back ordered ones? Clearly they saw what was happening, tons of orders were made and they fixed the system.
I think they'll honor the orders. They could have stopped the coupon stacking, but chose to let it happen for three days before stopping the "deal." I've heard other people say when they called, the Customer Service Representatives said all orders received will be honored. Don't quote me on that, but I don't know what WB's history is when something like this goes down, but let’s keep our fingers crossed.

I'm pretty sure that they noticed earlier, and just said enough was enough. I mean, how hard is it to deactivate coupons?

I think we are in the clear, but never say never. Knock on wood...

Question

I checked out as a guest using three different email addresses. All three of my orders said "Estimated Delivery On August 21st"...Does that mean they will arrive on August 21st or be shipped by August 21st? Will WB send an email with UPS tracking information?

All my ordered had that same date too. I think it's the default.

If you haven't ordered from WBShop before, some things to keep in mind (based on my own experience with them and reading people's comments on here)...

-their estimated online ship dates are 99% of the time inaccurate. the best way to know when your order may ship is to call. along the same lines, if you want to see if it has shipped, check your bank accounts for a charge (note: NOT an authorization hold that appears for a few days after ordering) and the website, which will display a status change to "shipped."
-WBshop hasn't canceled orders in the past because of pricing errors. if you placed an order using coupon codes, it is very very unlikely they will cancel it.
-WBShop may or may not send confirmation emails when an order is placed and/or when it ships. again, the best way to know is to call.
-WBShop's phone number: 1-866-373-4389

some of this may seem like a hassle, but for the price many people usually pay when ordering off WBShop w/ coupon codes, i believe the extra time spent is well worth it. hope this helps some people out

(also kris...a lot of my stuff is on backorder too...small price to pay i think for the small price we all paid )

Question

Okay...

I just called and spoke to a Customer Service rep. Almost everything I ordered is on backorder.

I put an asterisk next to the titles that are in stock and ready to ship

Order #1:
TMNT Collection
Oceans 11,12,13 Collection
Austin Powers Collection
Matrix Collection
*The Fountain

Order #2
Dirty Harry Collection
Bonnie & Clyde (Digibook)
*Be Kind, Rewind
Dumb And Dumber
Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle
Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo

Order #3
Dirty Harry Collection
Band of Brothers
John Adams
The Dark Knight
*Batman Begins

She said that they will wait for all the items to be in stock before sending anything out. August 21st was just an estimate, but she seriously doubts I will receive them that soon

Oh well...at least my orders weren't cancelled...

I think that's the estimated date that they will be shipped. Since I ordered 9, 1 was in stock, and 8 others were backordered. I placed the order yesterday when they all had the "ships within 5 business days" next to the titles. So if it takes 5 business days to ship, there's no way they will arrive on Aug 21st.

I got multiple titles from WBShop earlier this month arriving in two packages. One was shipped via UPS, the other USPS. The UPS package had a tracking number available on the site, the USPS one did not. This was done with a "registered" account I've had for years. No shipping E-Mails were ever received.

Of the orders I made the last several days, all of them contained pre-orders except for one which hasn't shipped yet.

Backorder just means it will ship in 5 business days as opposed to 1.

You know that anybody in the audience at Oprah doesn't have the thousands of dollars to pay the taxes on a car. The same thing happens to many of the winners on The Price is Right.

Back on topic...

If WB also uses USPS, why do they refuse to ship to PO boxes? I hate having stuff delivered to my house because I'm never there to receive it and have to make an extra trip to go pick it up. Besides you can even have UPS deliver to PO boxes now through UPS Mail Innovations. I've emailed them about this before, and you should too if you want them to ship to your PO box.

Just like I said above in post #18.

They apparently now ship both, and you can never tell which they're going to use. If I believed they would ship all of my stuff USPS, I'd have my items shipped to my home, but with not knowing, I had it shipped to my workplace.

At least they use faster shipping than Amazon.

I have four different orders, all made with the guest checkout option. All four orders have shown up in my fatwallet account, though the purchase amount for all four orders curiously shows the totals before the Fandango coupon is considered.

The large volume of orders will most likely mean long delays for most of us in receiving them.

Received my last order 2 days ago and was pretty upset to find out that Rocknrolla, Gran Torino, and Beetlejuice didn't have their slip covers! My other order which included Inkheart, He's Just Not That Into You and The Polar Express had theirs. And my other order with Harold and Kumar 2 didn't have its slip cover either!

But for the overall deal that I got I'm not too upset...but I really need the slip covers!

And the Blade Runner I got has awkward looking "veins" on the front plastic of the case!
