It's pretty tricky to answer that. The Devil's Hand source wasn't as good as Brain's but as I said in my intro I couldn't resist as it was crying out to have specific shots pop out.

I'd guess in terms of time taken to convert them Brain and Devil's Hand probably started and finished about the same time - so they've had the same amount of time put into them but the better source will obviously make a better conversion.

I can't comment on the specifics of Brain but Devil's Hand required massive amounts of roto fixes on the depth maps - I'd say almost every voodoo doll, pen, bottle & glass was missing and required manual effort to add back in. Definitely more time spent on it than was hoped/planned for at the outset.

As with our EYEPOP releases it was fixed and 3d graded on a shot by shot basis - so still a hefty amount of work for a lower profile release.

But Brain is objectively & without doubt a better conversion.

Yeah, I think I’m in for all these titles. They’re sounding better and better all the time.
