At least in the US, Hour of the Wolf is no longer with MGM (The Serpent's Egg seems to be the only one they still have.)

For those of us too lazy, technically illiterate, and poor to import, it’d be great if Radiance chose Deaf Crocodile as their next hosted label.

All those weird and wonderful Soviet SF and fantasy titles…

We Still Kill The Old Way was announced last month.

You're quoting me from a post that's older than a month before it was announced.

that partner label nonsense only muddies the waters for me.

i also don't want radiance disappearing down the same "collectors only" hole as VS is now in.

Yeah, I've been hoping for that ever since Radiance announced that they'd be hosting other labels.

I've been holding off on a lot of DC titles hoping this might happen. They're pretty pricey to import to Australia, would be easier to get hold of if they came via Radiance.

Definitely getting these two sets!

Plus:

Oh wow, I expected the Daiei set, but Dogra Magra is a wonderful surprise.
That Haxan box is a beauty as well.
Interesting limits on these LEs

I vampiri - 5000
Haxan - 6000
Dogra magra - 3000
Daiei Gothic - Japanese Ghost Stories - 4000

Radiance trying to very precisely walk the line on demand there!

They've also announced an SE on Planet of the Vampires with 3000 of those.

What an interesting line up for October. Good to see Radiance increase the numbers especially for Haxan, Messiah of Evil and Planet of The Vampires sold out fairly quickly. Not sure if this will be similar given its age, but should give a bit more leeway in terms of time to pick it up for those wanting it before it goes OOP.

I expect Daiei Gothic to be their fastest selling set yet. I wish we had confirmation that Haxan will get a regular LE down the line.

Don't understand this comment. How is VS "collectors only" and in what sense are partner labels problematic? (Legitimate question, you probably have something interesting to say here I just don't get.)

I don't consider myself a "collector" and import VS releases regularly, taking advantage of their OCN partner labels sales as well. Altered Innocence and Deaf Crocodile were my favourites among them, pity they stopped their partnership with VS/OCN. I wholehartedly endorse RossyG's suggestion above, I'd like Deaf Crocodile titles cheaper myself.

Hesitate to get the german releases (any idea if these are any good?) and not sure Radiance would consider Nero Veneziano, but love this film and it would be nice to see a release from a more reputable company.

By the way, anyone think Radiance might have House with the laughing windows for the UK? Itching to get the (non english-friendly) LCQF release, but curious to see how the UK/US releases turn out..
