Screen Archives Entertainment are having a ClassicFlix sale. I'm not sure if shipping kills this offer, but they have some really great prices on some of the titles in the sale. Most notably The Long Wait 4K/BD is just $17.98, and I, The Jury 4K/3D/BD combo s just $19.98, the lowest prices for both. They also have The Little Rascals Complete Collection for $49.98, which I think is lower than what CF usually has it for.

Prices are worse than prior sales. Many of those $15 blus have been 10, the 7.50 dvds have been 5 or less, and many of the $5 dvds have been $3 or less. Guyver 4k being on sale for $51 is funny.

I could come up with only $62 for an order since I bought so many Film Detective titles the last time they had a 50% off sale. So I checked on The Film Detective titles at Oldies.com and found a non-sale title for $15 that just put me over the $75 free shipping threshold.

So if you can't get free shipping on MVD.com, check out Oldies.com for the same titles. They had the same titles on sale plus others that aren't on a special sale.

I pretty much have all the Film Detective titles I wanted. I wish this was a Film Masters sale instead! But thanks a lot for this alert, Rick. I still need THE BAT and THE BRAIN FROM PLANET AROUS, though they don't seem to have the Blu on the latter?

Technically, MVD does have a Film Masters sale, but… Well, frankly, it sucks. Their so-called sale prices are higher than Amazon's regular price.

If you're interested, the MVDshop home page has links for sales on half a dozen labels.

It appears to me that The Brain from Planet Arous Blu-ray is OOP.

There's two good deals from the Film Masters sale. Both The Scarlet Letter and Swiss Conspiracy Blu-rays are $12.48. I think MVD did a poor job with this sale as it encompasses multiple labels, but just a few titles from each. It would be better if they just had a singular sales page with just titles reduced from every label.

Yes, their Film Masters selection is poor — only 21 items, both Blu-rays and DVDs. If you eliminate the DVDs, there are only nine Blu-rays.

They do have a better deal on one Blu-ray that interests me: The Devil's Partner (1961) With Bonus Film, Creature From The Haunted Sea (1961) for $14.98. However, the $7.99 shipping fee kills that "deal" for me. I can get it at Amazon with Prime for that price.

You're right. It really would've been more effective if they had combined all actual sale items on one page.

I highly recommend Top line, Murder in a blue world, and off balance, MIABW being my highest rec. If you like Clockwork Orange and early 70s era dystopia future movies, that price is a steal and I bought it at similar with slip at a con last year, though had seen it previously.
