Just keep in mind that for Apple HD and 4K are the same thing to them. If it wasn’t then they would have made a separate purchase tier. Right now they just have two purchase tiers: SD and Higher Definition (HD (720/1080) and 4k, plus it seems like direct purchases give 3D for those 3d goggles). The only exception are HD titles from MA imports. Those aren’t eligible the 4K playback.
I know it can be confusing with how the ATV app show things. |
