Sell them in reddit forum digitalcodesell or give them away to friends. Whatever you want to do.

No downloading needed. It's streaming - so it's similar to watching something on youtube or amazon prime or netflix. All you need is to create an account somewhere & have decent internet speeds. Then you can log in on any device anywhere & watch your library. The tricky parts might be learning which studios deal with which services (Paramount & Lionsgate codes don't work with moviesanywhere) & which services work best with your tv (do you have a smart tv or do you need to plug in a chromecast or something similar).

Even codes that say they are expired will probably still work unless they are from Warner Bros.

There's an entire sub-forum under Hot Deals devoted to selling, trading, & giving away codes. https://forum.blu-ray.com/forumdisplay.php?f=48

because while i have about 500 ish movies that i keep in big movie binders (i'm a minimalist and dont keep the cases) im tired of saving these slips.

if they keep them in online repositories i might go ahead and redeem them, but otherwise do people sell them or give them away?
Yeah once you “burn” the code it’s into the bin for that slip. It just links to your account

The code just grants a license for you to access a streaming version via whatever account you’re able to redeem it through. You don’t “have a copy,” it is just added to the library of things you can access on their service.

If the distributor decides at any point to remove the film from that particular service, you lose all access to it. There is no “repository” nor can you download the file (unless you’re downloading on a mobile device - but then you don’t actually get access to the file, it must be played through the service’s app, and with you logged in or if you’re downloading on iTunes/Apple TV on a computer - but it can still only be played through Apple’s TV app)… it’s basically just an unlimited license to watch the streaming version. But if the movie is no longer on said service, that license means nothing.

Worse is if that service, distributor go bankrupt or just decide to stop the service, then you just lose it ALL if not connected to other service.

Most recently happened with FUNimation streaming service when Crunchroll decided it no longer wants to continue after buying up FUNimation. I lost 80+ shows from that library. Which some of them, I even sold off my physical discs because I had it in streaming. Now just gone.

And we had plenty of other service disappear before this. Best Buy and Target had their own streaming before, which I lost couple of exclusive contents.
VUDU(walmart) is sold to Fandangonow.
Nothing is really safe. Not MoviesAnywhere since Ultraviolet was gone too.

choices, choices, choices.
It isn't that big of a deal, I've had the same account for 15 years, never lost access to a single thing. And you can check most codes to see what they redeem before selling/giving away

Yeah I mean there has to be a way for you to test them. And then you could use a non purchase protection money transfer like PayPal friends and family or cash app. This way you can provide proof that it’s going to work and the customer can’t lie telling you it didn’t. I know there are Facebook groups. Just make sure not to deal with Ashley Matias lol she’s a scammer and recently was in a digital code group.

I used to give them away since I have a big physical media collection but now I use them just bc it's convenient to have access to some movies anywhere without having to get a disc to play them at home. Also the multiple streaming services provide access to most of my digital content like My movies anywhere, Vudu, Amazon prime, AppleTV so if one goes you have others playing it still.

I always redeem mine and if I have it in my online library already I just recycle the code slip unused.

I never use them unless I'm traveling because I have the physical copy which is of higher quality. I share my iTunes library (1459 movies) with my kids and my Vudu (1215) with my stepdad.

I like to burn mine and watch them go up in flames, sometimes I make paper Air Planes out of them and fly them to the trash bin, when I run out of toilet paper I make digital do, I roll them up and pretend to be Tony Montana with lines of Pixie stix dust and then break into song like Tom Cruise in Risky Business…iv’e wore holes in my sox and mastered the art of the Haiku…
