IDK man, I think it was probably one of the worst series finales I've personally seen. I liked some moments in these last episodes and it had potential but the show just really started to become a mess after season 8. I guess I can't blame everyone because of all the cast who left and how things changed. maybe I will appreciate it more over time, but unlikely. |

NBC keeps trying to soft reboot or remake the show Blacklist Redemption was too similar with viewers having to have really seen the main show otherwise it would be convoluted for new viewers. The problem was for existing viewers it was like a worse version of the original show. The Endgame was essentially a new version of the Blacklist and it had a similar premise to the show as well as production values & decent writing that the Blacklist used to have in its prime. The studio also had Blindspot which again was very similar with an admittedly unique initial storyline but that show devolved into complete nonsense with the last season I saw a couple of episodes from essentially rebooting itself again. I can only assume this was a network decision to attempt to recapture the ratings from season one. |

I loved the finale. The last three episodes were the best the show had been in the last two seasons. It was fitting that Ressler tracked down Red since he spent years chasing him. It did seem odd that Elizabeth Keen wasn’t really mentioned at all.

Of course, maybe they just thought sod it we have some great material and wanted to concentrate on their stories instead of devoting episodes to explain stuff they didn't have anything to do with. |

I couldn't possibly agree more about there being unanswered questions!!
These are some of mine, and a few oddball questions for the heck of it: Did Meerca ever find out that Red and Weecha were getting it on? What was her reaction? What happened to Robert Diaz after he left DC? Where is Katarina? Why didn't Red run off with Cassandra? Is anyone going to tell Ilya about Red's death? Is Samar going to be continued to be cared for? Did anyone ever tell Scottie about Tom's death? And the two most important questions of all: What did Red say to Constantine Rostov to make him let Red go? and WHO WAS RED TO LIZ????? |

Doubtful.
I think iTunes had a sale for the complete series. Bought it. I have a haphazard DVD Blu-ray collection and then a store sold all 10 seasons on DVD for $10 (new which I bought to get seasons 7-10) which I bought before I bought the digital. I find digital is really great for TV shows. I think I paid $20 for The Blacklist complete series in HD. Most studios give up on Blu-ray after the initial seasons. Just ask The Mentalist, Bones, The Blacklist. It’s just going to get worse. |

It made it for 8 seasons on blu-ray and that’s pretty good. I do view season 8 as the finale. There’s some good episodes in the final 2 seasons though overall the overall plot wasn’t great. I wish they had more definitive on Red’s true identity than what they implied.
