Yawn Factory, what’s up with all the steelbook rereleases, I feel like I barely even pay attention to the shout announcements recently

Never heard of the films in the Golden Harvest set but I looked them up and they seem bat-shit crazy enough for me to order the box when it goes up on DiabolikDVD.

I'm good with my Escape from New York Scream Factory regular 4K UHD with slipcover.

I guess some people will just be happy with just about anything. This isn’t the Scream Factory I know. This is a label that’s practically dead at this point.

Also the box sets aren’t Scream Factory releases.

I don't think that's even remotely fair. Besides, Scream Factory has a lot of competition these days between Vinegar Syndrome, Severin, Arrow, etc.

They’ve had the same competition they’ve had for years now. I’d argue they have even less competition with a lot of labels going defunct the last couple of years in Code Red, Scorpion…etc

Just Hush and Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story that I am interested in getting (the alternative slipcase for Hush looks very good, but I will likely order at some point the combo pack release on it's own). The collector's edition combo pack release of Krampus: The Naughty Cut I've forgot to put on my Shout titles want list. Have only seen Dragon in full once, but it's stuck in my mind.

There's always Kino Lorber. Kino now even has a Kino Cult line. There are other labels putting out boutique releases of horror films. There are other options.

I think it’s fair…. Their announcements are atrocious lately…. Nothing even remotely exciting in the way of new releases and only sporadically successful with their 4K upgrades of previous releases……

With only 2 more months of VS announcements my guess is The Keep is their big Black Friday title and will be available to pre order in just a few short weeks during their Black Friday flash pre order sale.
