My 2 cents for a minute.
If you follow cB's advice you should be quite satisfied. However, to take it one step further, since I already have a 7.1 system, and I really enjoy the matrixed 7.1 sound for movies, and the 7 channel stereo offered by my Outlaw 970 for music....sometimes. As I was saying, if you want to go to 7.1, and decide on the XPA-5 for now, the perfect match would be the XPA-2 and take your receiver's amps out of the equation altogether. You may also decide at some time to sell the receiver and get a dedicated pre/pro instead. |
