I placed 2 orders and it looks like the first one shipped, as one of the authorizations on my card has become an actual charge. I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation email though. So assuming it has shipped, here's where I stand.
Placed order for: True Blood TMNT John Adams Woodstock Order was placed at around 2:00 PM PST last Sat. Also placed an order for Gran Torino, 300, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Bonnie and Clyde, Shawshank, and Blade Runner. That one was placed around 1 AM Mon., and it still shows as an authorization. |

If there's still people out there (and it's obvious there are) that thinks WBShop, as it's own entity, is not taking a sizeable loss on every order they fulfill, then I can assure you it's simply because you don't have a clue on how businesses do their accounting. Even if Time Warner as a global consolidated company isn't taking "that" much of a loss from shipping out titles for $5-6 a piece, not to mention taking into account shipping, other overhead and the fact many are third-party titles, WBShop from an intercompany accounting perspective probably went through it's own version of the Rape of Nanking. If you use order numbers as a basis of how many orders were placed, it's easily in the tens of thousands in a span of a few days.

Just checked my orders.
According to WBShop: Order 1: • Gran Torino - Ships within 1 business day. • Notebook, The - Ships within 1 business day. • Unforgiven - Ships within 1 business day. • Dark City - Ships within 1 business day. My order is still "In Process," but maybe it will ship this week. Order 2: • Twister - Ships within 1 business day. • Dumb and Dumber - Ships within 1 business day. • Wedding Crashers - Ships within 1 business day. • Grumpy Old Men - Ships within 1 business day. • Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay - Ships within 1 business day. • Michael Clayton - Ships within 1 business day. • Shawshank Redemption, The - Ships within 5 business days. • I am Legend - Ships within 1 business day. • Orphanage, The - Ships within 1 business day. Everything but Shawshank says it will ship within 1 business day. I have a feeling I'll be waiting a while for this order. |

a couple of things to remind people of:
-WBShop places an authorization charge on your account for the sum of your order(s) when you first place them. This charge generally falls off within 3-5 business days. If you see the charge appear again, it means they have actually charged your card and are getting ready to ship your respective order(s) very soon. -The estimated shipping/delivery dates displayed on your order pages are 99% of the time incorrect. For example, many times pre-orders that aren't coming out for a few months will display an estimated shipping and/or delivery date of 1-2 weeks. Along the same lines, movies that show up in stock on the website may not be, as they may be on backorder and can delay your order. The best way to find out the status of your order is to either keep checking your bank account for a full charge or call WBShop directly at 1-866-373-4389 ![]() |

Looks like Polar Express 3D is back in stock, but The Last Samurai and The Shawshank Redemption are still holding my order up ("Ships in 5 business days"). And they only have 1 copy of Wonder Woman left before it goes into backorder, as well. So, I'm sure once my two backordered titles are in stock, Wonder Woman will be out of stock. Oh, well..... I'm definitely not going to complain. This was one heck of a sweet deal and will be well worth the wait!

I checked my CC today and still no WB charges. I checked WB's site for stock availability, and there is at least 1 item on backorder still holding up each of my 3 orders. It looks like I'll have to wait a little longer.
![]() Glad to hear some people are getting theirs this week. |

A few things...
First, did anyone else notice that on the Order History page, ROME went from showing a status of "Pre-Order" to "This item is in stock"? I'm wondering if they HAVE it, but it's obviously on "embargo" until release date? Also, someone said (forget who/when) that if you place a pre-order, and choose the combined shipping option, any other movies on that order won't ship until the pre-order actually hits. But Saturday, I received Scooby Doo, which I ordered with ROME, so it appears WB is shipping those out anyhow? |
