Enjoy, I like holding back on a few films for HT, those two I mentioned being major examples. Heck, they way I do things, I still have Poor Things to watch! All these titles are for next year’s viewing (probably quite early in the year due to my hype levels).

The movie that caused me to avoid trailers, especially for movies I know I will see was MI Rogue Nation where they show the famous plane scene. I would have loved to have seen that for the first time while watching the movie instead of what actually happened, which was watching it on my iPad while eating oatmeal.

In my youth, when I attended the cinema, I vividly remember getting excited about trailers...There were many occasions where they were the best part of the evening...LOL.
I avoid them and almost anything else about a movie until I fire it up for myself in my HT... |

She's developed into quite the horror fanatic under my tutelage. Still, I've always been a little dismayed that she could never appreciate the genuine fear that I, growing up catholic, experienced watching THE EXORCIST... Growing up with Jewish mythology, I was kind of hoping that this movie might do that for her... Obviously, NOTHING could live up to those lofty expectrations ..LOL...but it is a cracking film in it's own right... |

I enjoyed The Substance.
Being a Horror movie it was disturbing but that's the point. Last movie I saw in theaters was Deadpool & Wolverine so it was nice to get back to the movies again. Last edited by bhampton; 09-21-2024 at 09:52 AM. |
