So I called the exhaust guy to schedule the repairs. Meanwhile after a week the first exhaust guy just returned my call lol. What are the odds? Took him a week to get back to me. While I would have preferred a second opinion, He lost my business.

I will politely say places with poor customer service generally lose my business. I'm paying you money to perform a service, if you can't do so in a satisfactory manner then I will take my money elsewhere.

I don’t know much about exhaust work but welding is not cheap. If it’s $300-400 to replace a muffler, then perhaps my $600 quote isn’t too bad. The guy seems to have good reviews online.

He specifically mentioned I had multiple leaks and the back portion was close to falling off whatever that means.

At first he mentioned a new system so it looks like he’s trying to save me the most money by cutting into the exhaust and replacing with new pipe in certain areas, etc. I have a feeling that if he really took advantage of people, he would not have 5 star reviews.

sucker better be super quiet when I get it back.

Did you get to stop at "South of the Border"? It is a roadside attraction in SC as you head north towards NC. I loved stopping there as a kid when we traveled south in the summer.

No but I actually did see a sign for it. I didn't take a good look at it so I wasn't sure what it was for. The town we briefly checked out in South Carolina was Greenville and it seemed like a nice town. I've mentioned a few times that my mom REALLY wants me to move to the South. Being closer to them would be one of the advantages. She would think I should move here regardless of where they're living. I have been back here a few times so this area isn't completely new to me. Area being the South. I had never been to Greenville before.

We got to Asheville around 6:30pm or 7pm and went out and had a nice dinner. The city centre of Asheville seems really nice. I'd say it's definitely better than San Jose's downtown. I'm not a downtown kind of guy really but Asheville would be a nice place if I was dating. Not a lot of Indians or Colombians in these parts though

Love me a good hotel breakfast buffet......hit plenty of those in the early mornings when my son played in hockey tournaments.....especially after the previous night's parent shananigans.

Dude, you need to let go of the Indians and Columbians. You'll never get far with that narrow view. You need to broaden your horizons. You might want to also include Dudes, perhaps. Or Dudes with Vag Badgers and Chicks with baseball bats. The best thing to do is take the advice of my mom. Someone asked her what she was looking for in a man and what qualities they needed to have. She said as long they're breathing, it's all good.
