not sure about the question, but from the first post I am assuming videos= VHS tapes. If so then I answered correctly (would also pretty much apply to DVD now)

I have a couple of boxes with old VHS tapes, there are still players connected to some of the TVs but I don't use them. I am too much of a sentimentalist to throw them in the garbage and I don't need the $ badly enough to sell my old junk.

I never really started collecting movies until recently. So I may have a few vhs' stored somewhere, but I dont ever watch them.

VHS was the only way to get AC/DC's Let There Be Rock: The Movie! (I transferred it to DVD on my computer but kept the tape for collecting/hoarding purposes.)

All my VHS's are gone now, replaced by DVD's or even LD's (that takes me back a while).
I held on to my Japanese VHS's the longest since they cost a pretty penny but after a while, got rid of those too.

All I have left now are LD's, DVD's and blu-rays ... thinking of getting rid of the LD's as well, since my LD player is on its last leg.

me either, I gave up on VHS when DVD came out. The las VHS movies I watched was the Star Wars trilogy, original not enhanced.

The first DVD player I got (and I still have it) was a VHS/DVD combo. It's not plugged in right now, but I do still have some VHS tapes as well - home videos, and some old TV show episodes not out on DVD, plus some movies I don't actually like enough to bother replacing. Never really watch any of them.

i only started collecting movies when dvd came out. only vhs tapes i have yet are video yearbooks from high school or home videos.

eventually when i can get a computer built, i'll be transferring any home videos i have to dvd.

this is why i selected "other"

By the time I was old enough to buy movies with my own money VHS was gone.

I get what Tarantino is saying. But it makes him a film snob.

That's only because Tarantino worked in a video store for so long. I don't agree with him. I don't even buy DVD's anymore.
