I really wanted this film but not now that Brett Ratner and Elvis Mitchell is on the disc for me its been ruined what does Brett Ratner know's about martial arts films absolutely not one thing and as for Elvis mitchell he slag's off fist of fury when he did a special feature for fist of legend I rather have nothing on the disc than have these two on it.

Having that on the disc will not affect your viewing of the movie itself

So you're not buying the movie because of the extras?



Interesting that your issue with Ratner is down to his lack of knowledge rather than anything to do with his less than savory character.

Also, sentence structure would help your posts.

Here the line is:

"Just say they were eaten by black cats!"

The correct line (and how it was in my original file) is:

"Just say they were eaten by black kites!"

Were previous releases audio better in sync? I feel like this is slightly off a bit more than before maybe...
I could always be wrong.

I feel like the subs are timed a little bit off in this release, in a lot of places, and some are running into other scenes.

I've seen better, I've certainly seen worse, but for 2024 standards, this was timed with a little bit lower effort than I'd personally like to see.

At the end they just timed the song lyrics to 4.5 seconds and left it. That was really low effort...

Maybe relying on too much auto timing software to time their translation work?

I'm not a subtitle expert but maybe they could fix subtitle timings manually by waveform like Subtitle Edit offers us for instance for QC. Just a thought.

I do love the film, but I hope Fong Sai Yuk has better timed subtitles that are not running into other scenes like this has.
