Not sure if I'll fit 31 in. COVID and flu shots this Saturday and the Call of Duty Halloween events are a lot of fun

Some personal observations:

The V/H/S series went downhill fast.

The Sadness (while good) wasn't as good as I expected.

In a Violent Nature is a bit like one of those YouTube walking videos, the first half was also a bit of a snoozefest.

The Coffee Table was excellent! But I was pleased when it ended

4. Drag Me To Hell - there's a lot I love about this film but I hate the ending
5. Immaculate - if Suspiria had been made by 60s Hammer...
6. Jeepers Creepers - "That's not my scarecrow" still makes my blood run cold
7. Christine - first time I'd seen this film, despite it being in my horror sweet spot (vintage John Carpenter + Stephen King). It's aesthetically beautiful and parts of it reminded me of Drive.
8. The Orphanage - the ending made me cry

From Karloff at Columbia I listened to Inner Sanctum Mystery radio plays:
The Corridor of Doom (1945), The Wailing Wall (1945), Birdsong For a Murderer (1952) and Death for Sale (1952).

B Movie sci-fi/horror Double Feature:

(16) The Man They Could Not Hang (1939)

and

(17) The Man With Nine Lives (1940)

Two of my favourite Mad Scientist films with the peerless Boris Karloff. Both films have good scripts and are very enjoyable, well acted and atmospheric chillers.
