'The Cellar'. It's probably what's on the 35mm negative.

It's one of my favourite films and one of the first horror films I ever saw
(probably on Betamax), so it's very special to me. Beautiful Blu-ray.
Very highly recommended. I've thanked 88 Films by email.

Just bought this from HMV online. No slip and no booklet. 88s website still list the LE in stock, so rather confused/annoyed.

They must have moved over to the standard edition as they have with witchfinder general and blood on satan's claw. The standard editions end up in the two for £15

Beast has been out of stock a lot on Amazon so the LE must have sold out for retailers already and HMV are now restocking with the standard. You'd have to go to a HMV in person to get the LE now

I ordered Blood on Satan's Claw UHD, via this site's Movie Deals, for £18.74p from Amazon UK. I will see what version it is. If it is the standard edition, I can live with it for that price.

The slip covers for the Tigon series of films are very nice and superior in robustness compared to the slipcovers I have from other labels. So in that respect they are worth having.

I’ve starting ordering these first editions from 88 well in advance as they do disappear quite quickly. hMV just sent me a shipping notification for Curse of the Crimson
Altar.

I bought it from Amazon UK earlier this week, no slip case. I wish I'd bought it sooner.
As I said in the Blood on Satan's Claw thread, it's been a favourite film since I first saw it around 30 years ago.

Mine also just arrived without the slipcase. This will be the first time seeing the film. I thought we would have had more time to buy the LE version. It will look a little different from the others on the shelf, but that's OK. I consider the most important thing is the viewing experience of a film with high quality restoration and transfer.

My £9.99 copy ordered yesterday from Amazon just turned up with a slip etc. Chuffed with this, thought I'd be out of luck regards the slip. Amazon must have a few left....

Have you got a HMV or Fopp shop nearby which might have the LE version in stock?

I see some are for sale on ebay at reasonable prices. It is in stock with Chalkys.

Yeah. I’m going to take a trip on to the City Centre tomorrow. It’s probably best for me to check in store rather than online.

Just managed to pick this up from an HMV store with slip and booklet for £9.99. It was actually on 2 for £15, but I literally couldn't find a second film I wanted, so was happy to get it for £9.99. (After all, it was originally £16.99, so was still discounted).

Well done getting the LE version. Did you get another title for the 2 for £15 deal?

Yes, still a good deal at £9.99p. I have had same problem trying to find something else to get the 2 for £15 discount at Fopp and failing to do so, even after much searching.
