Prepare. Preheat oven or deep fryer according to directions on frozen French fries package. If you prefer to make your own fries from scratch, by all means. Poutine is certainly worthy of such an effort.
I am sorry, but poutine should always be made with real deep fried fries. Frozen, crinkled cut, baked just does not count.

Does this come with an alternative delivery method of artery clogging? I mean let's just inject the cholesterol/saturated fat directly into the aorta if possible.

I like to keep my options open in that regard.

The Mccain fries work!

The best poutine is at Lafleur!

I have to try La Banquise

obviously, anything will work, will it be as good? NO WAY. For good poutine you need real potatoes which are slightly old (i.e starch started turning to sugar and when properly fried are brown and limp). I have bags of frozen fries at home all the time, they are useful when you don't feel like cooking or don't have the time, but you definitely get a much more inferior poutine when you use it. And if they are baked (i.e. not deep-fried) it is even worst.

Bad joke, I guess. It sounded like you were a fan of cooking so I thought that maybe you had gone to see it since it was mainly about food.
