Hey all!
I'm considering selling my Panasonic TC-P50S60 plasma, but I have no clue what to ask for, price wise, on the used market. I'm not even sure if people are still looking at purchasing used plasmas. It's just sitting in my basement, rarely used. Thoughts? Thanks! |

I would keep it because it just might come in handy someday. If you sell it, you might regret it later on. The plasma TV that I had in my living room (before I bought my 4K) I moved it to my bedroom. If you still want to get rid of it, give it to a family member or a close friend who's in need. It will be a blessing to them.

Normally a 7 year old TV is worthless, but I know plasmas still have a big cult following. I don't care if it's local or online. |

It think kind of depends where you live. Some of the people on Ebay have lost their minds on used plasma prices are those TV's don't sell. I would offer about $85 to $100 if I was looking for a used $50 inch plasma.

Woah, I wouldn't sell it for any less than $300, and I figured that would be a steal for someone

You could hold out until you find a passionate enthusiast that romanticizes plasma. However, if you wanted it sell, you would sell it close to $100. A 50 inch, 7 year old mid level plasma does not have a lot of value in the market.

$300.00 is too much for a used plasma TV, and that's not going to include shipping if you sell it online... A person can buy a brand new 50" 4K TV for 300.00! That's probably why the used plasma TVs on ebay are not selling because the sellers are asking too much for them. If $300.00 is your final price, it's going to be hard to sell. Everything depreciates as soon as you take it out of the store, you'll have to take a loss.

I agree with Auditor55 and don't think anyone will pay over $100 for your model. You should sell locally through Craigslist or classifieds because shipping will cost quite a bit. Old plasma's were heavy and risky to ship. I am a plasma lover and the only set I'd consider paying $300 for would be a mint condition, low hours Panasonic 65" ZT60 which is there last flagship top model and it would have to be a local seller since I would not trust it being shipped.
