When it was first released it seemed to have a limit of 1, now the limit is lifted and I wound up ordering 2 copies (since I have 3D tv's in several rooms) and paid double shipping. Turbine has no online method of requesting a cancelation, I guess only by contacting customer service? Has anyone dealt with this before?

You'll need to contact customer service through the web site. It's an online email form of some sort. Tell them what you are asking and I think they will help.

Thanks, just did. It's a difference of 15 bucks, but it's still nearly the price of another 3D bluray.

Thanks.
Great to see MI Fallout 3D finally getting a 3D blu ray October 31 2024 release. Cool they got the license to get it released so many years later.

If I remember correctly, Fallout has mostly medium 3D, with some strong 3D layers in some shots. A good conversion. one of the better MI movies too.

I hope Venom 2 Let there be Carnage 3D gets a blu ray 3D eventually. That has 3D just as good as Venom 1. Medium to strong 3D layers.

Tried to convince myself to purchase a few other discs but in the end, I must try and keep the physical media budget down. Still excited to get this when it comes in!

What a treat! I saw this in 3D at the IMAX Laser in London Leicester Square and thought the 3D would never see the light of day. Now the question is - rewatch on my jvc x9000 or my Viture Pro glasses?!

Both. I will be rewatching this on my plasma and on my OLED.

Excellent idea 13thman! We have both as well. Haven't really used the plasma much since it became our secondary tv but it will be good to charge up the glasses again. We have 10 pairs on hand for when we used to have family over for 3D movie night

This appears to be a review of the bootleg 3D version that has been floating around for a few years now. The reviewer says in the comments section that he did not receive a copy of the disc from Turbine and that he has been "sitting on this for a while."

I believe the source of the bootleg was an on-demand HDTV stream from Sky Movies in the UK.

No. I think this was a review of the actual stream, not the bootleg. I've seen the both bootleg versions. The original which is poor quality and the AI version which looks better but the skin tones are all waxy. His review version didn't look like either of them.

It's 100% a bootleg version that he used for the review. First, he appears to have an American accent, so I doubt he lives in the UK (and thus would not be able to stream the 3D version from Sky Movies UK). Second, even if he was somehow able to view the legitimate stream, he would have had to capture the video to use in his review. It's unlikely that he was able to save or download clips from the legitimate stream from Sky Movies.

So yes, whatever he's reviewing here is NOT representative of the upcoming 3D disc from Turbine. I'll wait for an actual review.

My take is that if a rip of the stream looks that good, the Turbine Blu can’t fail to look even better, so no need to wait for an actual review, I’ll be buying this sucker come next payday.
